That is an experienced teacher who has 100+ sharpened pencils at the ready! HA! Hope you have a great year.

I was planning on using the first idea and have a bucket of sharpened pencils and one for dull to avoid the I don’t have a pencil excuse or them getting up periodically to sharpen pencils. Also to avoid my pencil sharpener breaking early in the year.

Great idea which I will be using in my classroom.

Hopefully that works for me especially when in a rush. And just have them exchange each time they need one!

Also, my aide or a student will sharpen an abundance of pencils to have for back up at any given time. I already have 100+ pencils sharpened for this newyear.

Students use their own personal sharpener when needed in class. I teach fourth grade.
